In 2001, Pat had to visit the Taitung branch, so PP took the chance and visit Taitung for a few days. It wasn't my first time there, but the feeling was quite unique. As soon as we got there, we were attracted by the so called "Last Piece of Pure Land" in Taiwan. Moreover, the trip was one of the reasons why I taught  there few years later.

2001年，因為大P到台東分校觀摩的機會，PP第一次到訪台東。雖然不是我第一次去台東，不過確有一種新奇的感覺。台東的閒適，也讓PP愛上了這個號稱台灣最後一片淨土的地方。此外，也奠定了小P2006年到台東參加教師甄試的動力。
